In case you were fretting about the impending COLABORATORY deadline - good news! The new deadline is May 1st, however, they've changed the submission format. Instead of submitting it through the COLAB website, you will now need to mail the application to:

Hey! Great blog man! I see that you are on a similar mission to myself, and having some success which is good!! I'm going to be interning at Cunning and Universal Buzz in New York over the summer, and also just did a placement at Mccann Erickson in the UK! Trying to get as many book crits and work expo placements over here as I can while I'm still studying! I see you interned at BBH NY, was this in their creative department? Can I ask who you contacted, i've been given an email for a Tracy in HR - am I on the right track?

Always glad to hear that people are landing internships in our tough economy (keeps me hopeful).
Both of my internships have been within account management, however, as graduation looms I'm pursuing a position as a planner.
Whoever gave you Tracy's contact info is a good person! She's who I worked with in 2007 to get the internship at BBH NY (she's rad). So yes, you're on the right track.
